It is simply an in-humane act for anyone to leave helpless critters by a riverbank, exposing them to other animals and the elements. I realize that many people may not be fond of rats, but for those that are pet-rat owners know how smart, fun and loving they can be. I am so glad to hear that so many people are helping in the rescue. I sure hope all of the rats go to good homes and get a chance to be loved!
